At Unity of Bandon, consistent with the 135 year Unity tradition, we continue our commitment to create experiences of viewing ourselves and each other from a perspective of unity, appreciation, wisdom, and love. Quoting from our website https://unityofbandon.org: “Unity stands for peace in the presence of conflict; for love in the presence of hatred; for forgiveness in the presence of injury.” Being in this world and not a product of this world’s “separateness, anger, hurt, and hate” is a great and noble challenge. This is what Unity founders Myrtle and Charles Fillmore chose to confront by offering a pathway of possibility and overcoming. Every time any number of us gather together to create sacred space, we do so to support one another in living these Truths that set us free.

Speaking of Truths that set us free, I will be sharing my insights this coming Sunday, June 9th, on the topic “Jesus, Our Wayshower.” This dimension of Jesus’ legacy is in many ways unique to Unity and the heart of the Unity way of life. Come, let’s be together in unity.

I am letting it be known that we would like to add at least two new board members to our board of directors. As we move into summer and tend to go apart for a while for vacations, family reunions, and road trips, please continue to keep our Unity of Bandon spiritual community in your loving awareness. We love you and appreciate you!
